There is so much to think about when preparing a big lap. I feel mentally exhausted. I have spent a small fortune getting everything ready. Ensuring I get good phone service, RV Wi-Fi and lots of little things to make life on the road a little easier…. Now it’s crunch time. Things are getting real.
Just last week we pulled out the awning after the horrible incident of jamming my hand (which is in fact broken and now healed crooked.. Thanks GC Hospital). It made me so nervous! It was almost a stand off between Dad and I on whether we would go through it all again. That night every horrible thought went through my head, anything and everything that could go wrong.
Thankfully that didn’t last long. I gave myself a little pep talk and we’re good! We’re almost ready to hit the road next Wednesday! Our maiden voyage is to the Hunter Valley to celebrate the wedding of two of my closest friends. Then we’ll go where ever the wind blows us.
We have said a few goodbyes which never gets easier but we will be back. Bring on the amazing adventure!
