Mallacoota

We arrived at Mallacoota and checked in to a cosy little park. After going for a drive we realised that there was a huge caravan park that wrapped around the headland. We learned that we should always do a drive around before picking our spot.

When the sun came out we explored the beaches at Quarry Beach and Secret Beach. We found a cool cave in the headland. You could see how the rocks had been weathered by the waves… I like rocks and gems and stuff.

We watched a snake come towards us. I was like “hell nooooo” and had to stop Mum from trying to record the snake.

We found a WW2 bunker that had been turned into a museum. I thought I’d enjoy it but I got a little bored but I was using my imagination to imagine what it was like back then.

I loved walking around the bay and watching the pelicans get fed. I met a gorgeous dog called Tilly. I’m now saving my pocket money for a blue heeler when I get back.
